Urgent public announcement to all in the Romero area:
Our own Annie Young is on the run. She has pledged to run 100 miles in February for the non-profit organisation Refuge. Refuge supports women, children & men experiencing domestic violence with a range of services. Just £10 could provide a woman arriving at Refuge with the support she needs for her first night. Every £1 makes a difference.
“Anyone that knows me knows I cannot run, so this month I am challenging myself to run 100 miles for refuge, for all the women and children that everyday have to run from horrific circumstances for their own safety.”
