After months of hard work & fundraising, Lee Peter’s takes on his final challenge today running a double 10k! Read below what he’s got coming up, and how you can donate to the NSPCC:

After 23 days & 230km ✅ run, the final day of my favourite ever Advent Calendar opens it’s last door. 💚

To all those who have run, walked , been more active or stopped smoking to support my challenge, please don’t give up, we have a tough couple months ahead so set your own goals for 2021 & keep moving & we will get through it. 💥

My original target was £1250 but you have ALL played your part to help me smash that. Together, with Nicola Simpson generous friends and family we have raised enough funds to cover the calls for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day, our current team total is £10,700.  Its so lovely knowing despite all the challenges that have been thrown at us this year, people still come together to make a massive difference to vulnerable children in need of help more than ever due to the pandemic 💚.

Today is a double bill (2x 10km) to finish off the challenge in style 🎅🏻. Im running this morning with Tina Read   & John read. Tina is an old work pal who is now a teacher and sadly knows how many children need support and stepped in wanting to help, thank you guys & to all your friends who have donated. My brother David Childs  & niece are also running virtually in Sunderland, all this support means the world to me. 💚

Then at 11:30pm, we will be leaving Millers Croft and heading around Howden Clough and the bunny run with the (usual suspects🤣 ) team below & with another special Santa Nicola Simpson , who has done this incredible challenge and felt every ache and pain with me. Give us a wave or jingle of your bells if you see us pass. 🎅🏻

A big shout to a close friend Cath Holmes who is supporting us by walking her last mile of her marathon at the same time 💚

Lee Peters    has made an incredible transformation himself and not only turned into an elf but has worked extremely hard to change his lifestyle & fitness & looks amazing & also been a great support to Noahs cricket development over the years, very proud he is joining us on the journey to run his first ever 10k.

The reindeer, Chris Chapman  who has really done what a reindeer does and carry me (Santa) throughout the busiest December . He has helped me promote the challenge with cards, advent calendars & training gear, fed and watered me & the kids. Despite the smily faces posted, it has been tough & I have had days when I didn’t think I couldn’t balance everything & he has picked me up and got me going again, I honestly couldn’t have done this without all his support 💚

And finally, Noah the brave festive sapling, who went to school dressed as a Christmas tree to support the @NSPCC & completing his 4th 10k with me, super proud mum 💚.

If anyone wants to support our final festive 10k, just £5 covers a call to the NSPCC✅, please help if you can and/or share this message to help support the NSPCC further
